I have been sewing for over 50 years. I learned from my Mother when I was very young, making clothes for my dolls. I made my first wearable garment when I was 11 and I can picture it in my head to this day. It was a very proud moment for me. By the time I was in Middle school I was making most all of my clothes. As a young mother of girls I made most of their clothes as well.

I have taken many sewing classes as an adult and love to meet new challenges. I do formal wear, menswear, window treatments, slipcovers and other home décor. My passion is children’s wear and heirloom items.

I have taught sewing in my home as private lessons and have taught a home school group at the Lilburn Alliance Church as well as sewing classes at the Tucker Recreation Center in the past. I love seeing the sparkle in a child’s eye when they realize they can sew.
